Monthly Close Essentials

Typical scope: $1,000–$2,000 / month

Designed for nonprofits that need a reliable GAAP-based month-end close without complex grant or audit demands.

Includes:

  • Bank and credit card reconciliations (defined account list)

  • Month-end journal entries and accruals

  • Balance sheet integrity review

  • Monthly financial statements

Not included:
Grant tracking, program-level reporting, audit preparation, or extensive historical cleanup unless separately scoped.

Service Fees

Close + Grant & Program Reporting

Typical scope: $2,000–$4,000 / month

For grant-funded nonprofits that require program-level and restricted fund reporting in addition to a consistent close.

Includes everything in Monthly Close Essentials, plus:

  • Program / class / location reporting within QBO

  • Restricted fund tracking and release schedules

  • Budget vs actual reporting by program

  • Grant reporting support aligned to funder requirements

Not included:
Full audit coordination or PBC preparation unless scoped separately.

Close & Audit-Ready Support

Typical scope: $3,500–$6,000 / month

For nonprofits with audits or financial reviews that need strong close ownership and ongoing audit readiness.

Includes everything in Close + Grant & Program Reporting, plus:

  • Close calendar ownership and timeline management

  • GAAP-aligned close review and documentation standards

  • Coordination with CPA or audit firm during the year

  • Prelim & Final internal audit of books & submission to auditor/CPA

Not included:
Audit fieldwork or responding to auditor requests during audit season beyond agreed monthly scope.

Audit & PBC Support (Seasonal or Add-On

Typical scope: $1,500–$5,000 per audit

Scoped separately to keep monthly retainers predictable.

Includes:

  • PBC list review and coordination

  • Tie-outs and support schedules for key accounts

  • Auditor follow-up support during fieldwork
